The Problem

Donation transactions were not consistently syncing between GiveWP and Authorize.Net. Some payments appeared in the payment gateway but were missing from the WordPress donation records. Failed and pending Action Scheduler tasks were also present.

The Solution

I investigated the WordPress cron and Action Scheduler setup, coordinated with the hosting provider, and configured a server cron to process scheduled tasks approximately every 10 minutes.

The Result

The client tested the donation workflow and confirmed that synchronization was working again, with a small delay. I also helped simplify conflicting anti-spam measures and add Cloudflare-related protection.

The Problem

The old website showed suspicious redirects and phishing-related warnings. Security software blocked suspicious activity, spam content had appeared, and automated registrations were creating additional problems.

The Solution

I removed unwanted files and outdated plugins, disabled the abused public registration feature, rebuilt the site with a new theme, preserved hundreds of existing posts and around 10 pages, and cleaned spam-related database content.

The Result

The site moved to a cleaner, maintainable WordPress setup. The remembered historical Google PageSpeed score improved from approximately 15 to around 60. I continue to monitor users, posts and comments and maintain anti-spam protections.

Do you need to move my website to a different host?

Not necessarily. I can maintain a WordPress website on its existing hosting if the environment is suitable. If a migration is needed to solve a technical or hosting problem, I will explain the reasons and provide a separate scope where appropriate.

What happens if my website gets hacked on your watch?

Security issues are assessed based on their cause and severity. Routine checks are part of maintenance, but a significant malware incident or full recovery may require a separate estimate unless the written plan specifically includes that work. No security service can guarantee that a site will never be compromised.

Are design changes and new features included in maintenance?

Routine maintenance focuses on keeping the existing WordPress website updated, backed up and working as agreed. New features, substantial content work, redesigns and custom development are discussed separately unless they are explicitly included in your plan.

Is there a long-term contract?
